News: NGO Pledge To Help Orghans and Widows

A non-governmental organisation, Adonai Orphanage Home and Widow’s Centre has pledged to give orphans and widows equal opportunity on the necessary mental and spiritual dexterity to achieve their dreams and aspirations.

This opportunity, according to the Founder of the organisation will enable them thrive in a modern society.
Speaking the official commissioning of the Lagos home, the founder of the home, Mrs Elizabeth Afuwape said, “the urgent attention to the derogatory state of orphans and widows cannot be disputed. Therefore, we are compelled to fill this growing gap and do the needful for the potential bright future of orphans and widows.”

The Lagos Co-ordinator of the centre, Mrs Juliet Adisa called on people to partner with the organisation so as to touch lives positively.

She said, “people can volunteer their time to impart their knowledge and skills gained through experience. People can also choose to donate resourceful materials and they can choose to make monetary donation with full assurance that the funds will be managed properl for the benefit of the orphans and widows.”
