In a bid to boost the morale of sportsmen and women in the Nigeria Police Force who have distinguished themselves in different sporting activities, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Solomon E. Arase, fdc, NPM has magnanimously promoted six of them to their next ranks while the seventh officer was given accelerated promotion from Police Constable to the rank of Police Inspector.
Addressing the sports ambassador of the Nigeria Police at the conference hall of the Police Force Headquarters, Abuja on October 14th, 2015, the Deputy-Inspector General of Police DIG Dan Azumi Job Doma, NPM, fwc, psc who stood in for IGP said, the IGP and the entire Nigeria Police Force is proud of the outstanding performances.
He also said that they should shun drugs and any performance enhancing drugs, saying the application of such act is very embarrassing, Among those promoted to their next ranks include:-
