Food For Thought: The Breakfast of Champions

No obstacle will ever leave you the way it found you. You will either be better of worse. Problems are the price of progress. The obstacles of life are intended to make us better, not bitter. Adversity has advantages.

The truth is that if you like things easy, you will have difficulties. If you like problems, you will succeed. The biggest successes are the once who solve the biggest problems. The Holy book is a book of problems filled with stories of men and women who faced incredible challenges ans with God's help overcame them and found themselves at another level.

The Chinese have a proverb that says, "The gem cannot be polished without friction, nor man perfected without trials." It seems that great trials are the necessary preparation for greatness. Consider what Jesus Said: "Here on Earth you will have many trials and sorrows; but cheer up, for I have overcome the world."

When you encounter obstacle, you will discover things about yourself that you never really knew. You will also find out what really believe. Every problem introduces a person to himself. The breakfast of champions is not cereal, it's problems. - John Manson
